Linda Martin - Hairston

I would like to extend my most heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the entire family of Ms. Linda Martin Hairston and to the entire Adams family. My family and I grew up with the Martin family, along with Linda's mother Ms. Olivia Martin. Linda was like my big sister, and all of us were very close. Yes it hurts to lose a dear loved one, but we all know that God knows best when he decides to add another Angel to his Army . We will all continue to cherish Linda in her memory and certainly all miss her. I thank God for the blessed life that she enjoyed with her beautiful daughters and grandchildren. My family and I will continue to pray for strength and healing during this difficult time of loss. Most respectfully, Dexter Welch, Mary A. Welch and our entire family.

God has chosen another Beautiful flower from his garden of life. I always thought Ms Linda was one of the prettiest women in Madison but that was not at the forefront of life for her. I remember when I attended Goodwill Baptist church how she would praise God and her love for him. Family I'm deeply sorry and praying God bring you through.What a true example of a Christian woman. My heart is saddened today because I've lost my best friend. Our friendship goes back for decades. We went to school together, worked together and served GOD together. She was a virtuous woman of GOD and never wavered. She was beautiful inside and out. I'm going to miss our conversations and her words of encouragement. I'm going to miss her but I know where she is. She was faithful til the end. My condolences to the family and I love you

This message is for Mrs Nancy Moore McClinton. Nancy , you and Linda shared moments that no power on earth could break . The 2 of you were closer than any husband, mother or sister could possibly be. Hopefully , once you knew Linda had made certain decisions about her life's path, you spent time with her to say your last and final goodbyes. Nancy, I know you're hurting and rightfully so. Most of all , we both know that Linda called the shots. With all my heart , I love you both. The hallowed halls of Charles Drew School will echo our days there forever and ever . They took away our school but not our memories!
