I am so surprised to see that my friend Linda is now in the hands of our Lord. We shared an apartment and were classmates. I will keep her family in my prayers.
What a life lived with passion and determination. All these years she stayed to see many of her dreams for FAHI realized. She never once thought that it could not be done. We are so proud of her and her tireless effort to preserve our history. Family: your devotion to Linda and her care all this time, 12 years I think, was unparalleled and loving. We love you for that. We commend each of you for the faith and courage you embodied as you moved forward with your lives and with Linda. God bless you. Linda was special. -Jackie and John Kordalewski
My thoughts and prayers for Linda's sister Myra Gail Hampton and the Strange family. Linda was such a dynamic lady. She was the Executive Director and founder of FAHI, African American Museum and Cultural Center in Martinsville, VA. I was one of the volunteers. She loved that museum and was passionate about preserving our history. She was a tremendous fundraiser and was able to coordinate and inspire us. I can say that she put on some wonderful events for the Juneteenth Celebrations. It was a pleasure working with her. May you rest in peace my friend.

Oh my goodness! When I think of Linda, I have to smile because she was one of a kind. She was intelligent, witty, fun-loving and just an absolute joy to be around. I love the Strange family and my heart goes out to you all. I pray for strength and peace for the family in these difficult times of sorrow. What a beautiful soul. May she rest peacefully in Heaven.
