Mack Casey, known to family & friends as βJune Bugβ, 78 of Stoneville, NC passed Tuesday, September 16, 2026. Family visitation will be Thursday, September 24, 2026 in the Mary D. Perry Memorial Chapel of Perry Spencer Funeral Home, Madison, NC from 12:30 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. A service honoring his life will begin at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Hairston Family Cemetery, 174 Shady Grove Rd, Eden, NC 27288 with Military Rites.
Public viewing will be held from 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at Perry Spencer Funeral Home, 402 Short Ave., Madison, NC.

To Miss Elaine and the entire Casey Family, I extend my deepest heartfelt sympathy in the loss of our beloved Junebug. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this your hour of sorrow. I recently had the opportunity to visit with Junebug and I am so glad I did. We talked, joked, and laughed the entire time. It's a sweet memory of him that I'll carry with me forever. He talked about his family and spoke so loving about Miss. Elaine. I pray he now rests in sweet eternal peace.

My cousin June Bug as we always called him growing up around him. I will never forget when he piled me and his siblings up in that mustang and drove us to Martinsville VA to his mother's people up there. He was a super nice guy.
