A service honoring his life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, September 24, 2026 in the Mary D. Perry Memorial Chapel of Perry Spencer Funeral Home, Madison, NC. Interment will follow at Hairston Family Cemetery, 174 Shady Grove Rd, Eden, NC 27288 with Military Rites.

Public viewing will be held from 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at Perry Spencer Funeral Home, 402 Short Ave., Madison, NC.
