Sharon, Pamela, Frank and Family: Your Mother was one of the best. She was our friend and we loved her dearly. Her personality, her smile, her kindness, her love, and her honesty was admired by all. Teenie was a beautiful role model to us in our community. She will surely be missed, but she will always live in our hearts. You have our deepest sincere sympathy and love. May God be your tender comfort in sorrow and bring peace and strength in the days to come. -- The Morehead Family--Mary, Karen and Jamie
Sincere condolences from John G Stone Sr., Anke, Alysha, Laryssa and John Jr. to the family.
Sorry for the loss of your mother. She was a very special person who cared for others. May GOD wrap his loving arms of protection around you and give you strength in the days to come. We love you. JB and Nancy McClinton.
I am sorry for your loss; may God wrap His loving arms around you and give you comfort and strength. Ms. Teenie was truly an Angel. She taught me how to cook and stretch food to feed my family for a week when we didn't have a lot of money. She made sure we had food on the table every day. Ms. Teenie would have vegetable gardens every year and share with the entire neighborhood and beyond. Often she would actually cook food from her garden and bring to me and my mother. Her job on earth is well done.
We send our deepest sympathy and prayers to Pam and the rest of the family as you grieve the passing of Ms. Teenie. Although mere words cannot express the depth of your sorrow, may it help ease the pain to know that the Comforter will comfort you during the difficult days ahead. Madison Mayodan High School class of 1972
I want the family to know how special Teenie was. Teenie gave me money when I didn't have a dime. She made sure I had food for my family and bought clothes for my kids. She gave me a purse that still had the new tag on it. She gave me clothes to go out and find a job. I will always be thankful for the Angel she was. God will meet her at the gate and say WELL DONE!!
Mary was a great cook and if you went to her home you had to eat. I will always remember her saying that you don't have to be hungry to eat. My prayers are with the family.
To the Family of Mary E. Hairston--
You would not know me personally, but I knew Mary as I grew up in Pine Hall Baptist Church. She lent me her white topper to wear to my father's funeral service. I was the only sister to Travis, Bernard, Charles and John Will Hairston, and sister-in-law to Rita Hairston. Mary as I knew her was a warm, loving, kind and giving person. I pray for your comfort as you mourn the loss and celebrate the life of your beloved family member. Yours In Christ, Dr. Iris Hairston Cooley
God bless you Sharon and the Hairston family as you go through the loss of someone very special. My condolences from my family to yours.
We, the former classmates of Sharon H. May God guide you into the light of a new day filled with treasured times that you shared with your loved one and make you smile.
