Michael Juan Wyche “Tinker” 50 of Eden, NC passed, Monday, October 27, 2025. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Gospel Light United Holy Church, 85 Gospel Light Ch. Rd., Axton, VA. with the “Celebration of Life” beginning at 12 Noon. Interment will follow at Hairston’s Family Cemetery, 174 Shady Grove Rd, Eden, NC.
Public viewing will be held from 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at Perry-Spencer Funeral Home, 511 Henry St., Eden, NC.
Mr. Michael Juwan Wyche, age 50, transitioned to his eternal home on October 27, 2025, at Moses Cone Hospital, Greensboro, NC.
Michael, affectionately known as “Tinker or Tink,” was the beloved son of the late Catherine Dillard and Melvin Wade. He was born on June 29, 1975, in Rockingham County, North Carolina.
He was employed with Food Lion for several years and was a member of Gospel Light United Holy Church. Michael graduated from Rockingham County High School, where he played basketball and competed as a swimmer with the Special Olympics team.
Michael had a deep love for sports; his favorite football team was the San Francisco 49ers. He was known for his bright smile and kind spirit, and he never complained, no matter the circumstance.
In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Elizabeth Broadnax, who loved him dearly; his grandfather, Elder Samuel Jamison; and his uncle, Leslie Wyche.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his stepfather, Elder Jerome Dillard; grandmother, Mary Jamison; three sisters, Jennifer Hale, Jessica Dillard, and Portia Wade; three brothers, Jerome Dillard Jr. (Kiana), Lamont Strange (Michelle), and John Lampkins (Mona); two aunts, Deborah Martin (Sonny) with whom he lived after his mother’s passing and Rosemary Wilkerson (Larry); one uncle, Samuel Jamison Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved him dearly.
