To my BFF, Karen (Tesa), and my brothers from another special mother, and to "Mama" Shirley. It is with such a heavy heart ♥️ that I say good-bye to my dear friend, Cathy until we meet again. I love you and I will cherish the many times I spent the night at your house, and the fun times we all shared together growing up. Our parents were best friends, so it is fitting that your family is like my family. You were always so smart. I remember wondering how you knew all those big, intelligent words, and you spoke them with such grace. What a beautiful life and legacy you left to be carried on. Rest In Peace friend, gloria "T"

To The Price-Williams Family, My sincere condolences and prayers. I met Cathy my freshman year at NCCU. We lived in the same dorm. OMG! Cathy was so sweet and kind. Such a joy to talk to. I remembered her sister. Cathy was our Queen and very well deserved. We are celebrating our 45th reunion and will miss Cathy, but she will always be in our hearts and memories. So, cherish her memories. God bless and may God grant you all peace. She was my soror (AKA) now, an ivy beyond the wall. Rest my Soror. With love! Classmate
Cathy offered warm, caring and comforting friendship from the day you met her, until her sunset. In college everyone wanted to be her friend and she made room for all of us. Her heart was pure gold and mine is heavy knowing our Angel has left us. NCCU 82
In Loving Memory of Cathy,
Some people leave an impression that time simply cannot erase. Cathy was one of those people. Her radiant smile could be seen from across the campus, but it was the warmth of her spirit, the goodness of her heart, and the grace with which she carried herself that made her truly unforgettable. She was a treasured classmate, a friend to many, and a beautiful reflection of the pride and promise of North Carolina Central University.
No one was more befitting of the crown and title of Miss NCCU. Cathy wore that distinction with beauty, dignity, and grace, representing our beloved university in a way that made us all proud.
Though life took us on separate paths after college, Cathy was not someone you could ever forget. Her beautiful smile, warm spirit, and gracious presence left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
As we approach our 45th Class Reunion, we pause to honor and salute our Miss NCCU. While we wish she could be here to celebrate this milestone with us, her memory will forever remain a cherished part of the Class of 1981.
To her family, we pray that you will hold close the precious memories you shared, the vision of her warm and unforgettable smile, and the love she gave so freely.
We, her classmates of the NCCU Class of 1981, will remember Cathy with love, keep her in our hearts, and continue to lift her family in our prayers.
Rest well, Cathy. Once our Miss NCCU, forever a cherished part of our Eagle family.
The Class Of 1981
Cathy was destined to be a queen, from the time she walked on the yard at NCCU to the time she entered eternal rest. Her crown sometimes in life had to be straightened but she just made adjustments, steaded her poise and radiated her smile. A smile which was one of her jewels will never be forgotten. The sparkle in her eyes luminated love and compassion. Henceforth; now, there is a crown waiting on her for she had received eternal rest. The moment that I heard of your passing, I kept hearing the song in my spirit, " I Shall Wear A Crown". Family, I treasure the times that I was blessed to be in her presence. Cathy was loved and she shall be missed.
Cathy was the sweetest person. Knew her since the fifth grade at Pine Hall Elementary. Rest easy my friend. Fair winds and following seas.

I will always cherish your wisdom, mentorship, and kindness. Even still in my most stressful days, I always remember what you told me in 2006, "when you're overwhelmed, just take a nap and it will all get better."
