Paula was a light to others. She lifted the spirits of those around her without even trying, it came naturally. I am so grateful that I was able to have been Paula's co-teacher for years and friend beyond the classroom. Paula was a fantastic teacher who listened to her students, because she cared. They loved "Mrs. Graham". Her true loves were Lance and Marcus. May God bless and comfort you two now and always. Takeya Markiewicz
I had the pleasure of getting to know Paula as a colleague, parent of a student, and a friend. As one of the first teachers to reach out and welcome me to Hylton, she was always so kind, funny, and caring. I loved talking with her, sometimes for hours - especially that virtual year. Her kind spirit is mirrored in Marcus and I am so blessed to have had her in my life - even if only for a few short years. You will be missed forever - my thoughts and prayers are with the family as they mourn the loss of such an amazing soul. ❤️

From the first day we met, a bond was made between Paula and I. We had so much in common, eventhough I was 11 years older. WE had a friendship that stood the test of time, differences, and love that lasted beyond our 20 physical years. Our love was as strong as real sisters. That love will never die, it lives on in Lance, Marcus,Marsha, Greg, and the rest if the family. My love, heart, and tears are for the family of MY BEST FRIEND. May Paula sleep on until the Resurrection. Phyllis, Erica, Antonia, John, Emani Bring
So sad to hear the news of Paula's passing. I was able to witness firsthand the extraordinary love that she had for Marcus, and the hundreds of students she worked with, and cared for, on a daily basis. I'm sure her wonderful sense of humor, combined with her "tough love", truly had, and will continue to have, an enormous positive impact on those she worked with. She will be greatly missed, but oh so fondly remembered, by all her knew her. Rest in peace my friend. Our thoughts are with you and your family.
