Thomas Galloway, 76, of Eden, NC passed Wednesday, September 28, 2022. Thomas Galloway, 76, of Eden, NC passed Wednesday, September 28, 2022. Public viewing will be held from 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, October4, 2022, at Perry-Spencer Funeral Home, Eden, NC. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at Piney Fork Progressive Primitive Baptist Church, Eden, NC with the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial will following in Roselawn Memorial Gardens located 1821 Ashley Loop, Reidsville, NC.

Thomas David Galloway was born on August 14, 1946, to David and Edna Galloway. He departed this life on September 28, 2022, from home he loved.

He attended Lincoln Elementary and Douglas High School. He joined the Army in 1965, at the age of 18 years and served in the Vietnam War. He joined the Piney Fork P.P. Baptist Church October 16, 1957. “Tom” sang with the Male Choir and worked on the yard crew at the church.

He was married to Thelma Broadnax Galloway on September 27, 1985, and they celebrated their 37th years this September. His children are Paula Mott and Tiffany Broadnax, whom he raised.

Thomas was preceded in death by his loving parents, David and Edna Galloway, nephew, Alvin Hairston, Jr. and niece, Brigitte Young.

He is survived by his wife; Thelma Galloway of the home, daughters; Paula Mott and Tiffany Broadnax both of Eden, NC, siblings; Gary Galloway (Linda), Daryl Galloway (Julie), Jennifer Thomas, Eunice Young (Paul), Virginia Hairston (Alvin), Delma Rae Galloway, Viola Teamer (Amos), seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, two goddaughters, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
