Tyron Anthony Millner, 59 of Reidsville, NC passed Friday, May 30, 2025. Public viewing will be held Friday, June 6, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Perry-Spencer Funeral Home, 511 Henry Street, Eden, NC . The family will receive friends Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 12:30 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Little Bethlehem Christian Church,110 Piney Fork Church Road, Eden, NC. The “Celebration of Life” will begin at 1:00 p.m. with interment following in Hairston’s Family Cemetery 174 Shady Grove Road, Eden, NC.
Tyron Anthony Millner was born on July 7, 1965 to Minnie Marie Millner and the late Clarence W. Millner. He went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, May 30, 2025 surrounded by his loving wife, daughter and siblings.
Tyron, also known as “Tony” or “Mule”, graduated from Rockingham County Sr. High School in 1984. After high school, he worked for a short time at Stoneville Furniture and then move on to work at Macfield/Unifi where he was a faithful employee for 40 years. In his free time, Tyron enjoyed hunting, gardening, talking and laughing with his friends and family. He was a die-hard fan of UNC Tar Heels basketball. Any interaction with Tyron was guaranteed to leave you laughing because of the crazy thing that he would say.
Tyron was married to Lutricia Brown Millner on July 7, 1990. Along with his father he was also preceded in death by his brother, Gregory Lamont Simpson.
Memories of Tyron will be cherished by his wife, Lutricia Millner; his daughter, Ashley Millner; his stepson, Lance Ziglar; his mother, Minnie Marie Millner; seven siblings; Denise Robertson (Tony) of Eden, Wanda Williams (Kevin) of Archdale, Wayne Millner (Annette) of Stokesdale, Darrell Millner (Deborah) of California, Debra Millner of Eden, Mitsue Parrish of Raleigh, Melondy Millner of Mebane; sister-in-law, Emma Simpson and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.
Mitsue and family I'm sorry to hear about the passing of your brother Tyrone he was Avery nice guy that I remember when we all went to the same high school (Rockingham Senior High). I worked with Tyron at UNIFI. He was like a brother to me. He would always come around to speak and act silly. He would have me laughing by the time he walked away. He was definitely a character in his own right. He was very encouraging as well. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. To the family I say, be encouraged and continue to hold your heads held high...knowing that Tyron (your beloved one) is more than alright now. Tyron is now resting in the arms of our Beloved Savior, Jesus Christ. Take your rest my dear brother, until we meet again.
