Tyshawn J. Martin, 25, of Madison, NC, died April 3, 2021. Public viewing will be Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Perry Spencer Funeral Home, Madison NC from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Collins Cemetery, Madison, NC

TyShawn was born July 25, 1995 in Fort Hood, Texas to LaWanda Martin and Devron Ward. He departed this life Saturday, April 3, 2021. He attended Dalton L. McMichael High School and North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. He was employed with Ben Shields Guttering Inc. and Walmart. TyShawn was a member of Beulah Baptist Church. He loved God, his family, his friends and of course his Tennessee Titans. TyShawn never met a stranger and would greet everyone he knew with a smile. He had a heart of gold and did whatever he could to help whoever he could. TyShawn is preceded in death by his grandparents: James “Gump” and Brenda Martin, Taylor and Cheryl Ward.

He leaves to cherish his memories his mother LaWanda Martin of Mayodan, NC; his father Devron Ward of Atlanta, GA; his brother Kaden Sanders of the home, his sister Cheryles Ward of Bridgewater, NJ. His uncles Jeffrey Martin (Sherry) of Stoneville, NC and Jamie Martin of Stoneville, NC; Darrow Murdock (Stacy) of Bridgewater, NJ; Taylor Ward (Michelle) of Atlanta, GA. His aunts Laneeka Martin of Madison, NC; Tonya Martin of Stoneville, NC and Camy Ward of Atlanta, GA. A host of cousins and friends that loved him like a brother. A very special girlfriend Chelsea Hairston, a host of cousins, friends, relatives that were like his brother and many more.

Lawanda I was so sorry to hear of your son passing.I remember the last time I saw him was at the laundry mat doing his laundry and we talked. And whenever he would come home with Chip back when they were still in school he was so polite and would always smile.I cannot say I know your hurt but I do know God will comfort you in the days ahead.I love you beautiful.God bless you and the entire family.
