To Phillip and everyone in Vernita's family: On behalf of my brother Dwight, we extend our deepest condolences to you all. We both really enjoyed Vernita working with us on our taxes for the last few years, but we also enjoyed the laughter and the talks we had. Whether it was criminal justice or racing and even politics, we always enjoyed the chats and the laughs. She kept us laughing every time we saw her. She was truly one of a kind and we know you are going to miss her dearly. I know we will. May you all find peace in the coming days. Mark Childrey (Reidsville NC)
Love Always, De Hopper
Rest in peace my dear friend. I will miss our talks, your wit, your silliness, your laugh, your colorful personality, our friendship, our adventures...I will miss YOU! You were so amazing and beautiful in so many ways. Sincere, giving, and loving through all of your days. I wish I could hug you right now, why did you have to go? These days are hard without you, but this you should know, when the day comes to join you in that heavenly place...a beautiful smile for the ages will be on my face!
I am learning how to live In a new way Since that day You were taken away.
I am learning how to live With the things left unsaid Knowing I got to say them With every tear that I shed.
I am learning how to live By embracing the pain Knowing that you live on Through the memories that remain.
I am learning how to live Knowing I will never again see your face And I have peace knowing You're in a better place.
I am learning how to live Knowing you're in God's care It gives me the strength to move on And makes the pain much easier to bear.
May God wrap you in His loving arms and the angels keep you busy until we meet again.
