Mrs. Vickie Dean Brown Adams, 64 of Madison, NC passed Friday, July 3, 2026. The family will receive friends, Wednesday July 8, 2026, from 1:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., at Mary D. Perry Memorial Chapel of Perry Spencer Funeral Home, Madison, NC. Interment will follow at Collins Cemetery, Madison, NC.

Public viewing will be held Tuesday July 7, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Perry-Spencer Funeral Home, 402 Short Avenue, Madison, NC; other times at 650 Angell Rd. Madison, NC.

Vickie Dean Brown Adams, was born January 9, 1962 in Rockingham County to Elizabeth Pratt Brown and the late George Roy Brown. Vickie has lived in the county for most of her life. She departed this life on July 3, 2026 at Wesley Long Hospital, Greensboro, NC.

She attended Bethany Schools and graduated from Rockingham County High School in 1980. She worked at Jacobs Creek Nursing Center, Madison, NC for several years where she was employed as a Housekeeper. Listening to music, playing cards, cooking and basketball was some of pasttimes that she enjoyed.

She was married to the late Ronald Adams for 29 years. Vickie was a former member of New Light Refuse Temple of Madison, NC and attended ACTS Church under the leadership of Elder Chris Graves.

She was also preceded in death by her brother; Tony Brown.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her mother; Elizabeth Brown of Madison, NC, brothers; Wayne Brown, Bill Brown (Ella), Ronald Brown (Tonia) and Ricky Brown (Sue); sisters; Peggy Cullins, Janice Bennett (Jonathan), Lutricia Millner (Tyron*) and Shelia Ford (Jeffrey). Stepson; Ron Wall (Amy), six sisters-in-law; Julia Finnie (Mac), Darlene Spencer (Jerry), Sandra Adams, Vonda Adams, Patrinia Adams (Mike), Jane Phillip (William) and three brothers-in-law; Eddie Adams (Loretta), Ricky Adams (Leslie) and Tracy Adams (Melody), along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends; Diane B. Brown and Lavern Dejournette.
