On Saturday, July 6, 2019 God sent an Angel to Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem, NC to claim one of his own, Wesley Tee Davis to his heavenly home. He was born on November 23, 1955 in Stokes County to the late Ranie Davis and Anne Gibson Davis, who was the first of ten children. He attended London High School in Stokes County and was employed with R J Reynolds for 20 years and Walnut Cove Healthcare for 11 years. Wesley loved to play sports in school, go rabbit hunting, fishing, westerns, oldies but goodies and he loved to cut a rug. Most of all he loved his wife, Geraldine of 36 loving years. He also loved his only son, Terrail Davis, his granddaughter, Aaleigha Terrai Davis and entire family. He loved to get up at the crack of dawn and go for a cruise through town, you could see him waving from a mile away. Wesley was the family comedian, loved to tell jokes to keep everyone laughing with a smile on their face and playing 5-Up. There wasn’t a dull moment around him. He was also preceded in death by his brother, James Edward “ED” Patterson, who he dearly loved. He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife; Geraldine Davis of Danbury, NC, son ; Terrail Davis (Lisa Belcher) and granddaughter, Aaleigha Davis all of Kernersville, NC, four sisters; Sharon Simmons, Earlene Davis, Marylin Davis and Betty Davis (his devoted sister) all of Walnut Cove, NC, four brothers; George Davis (Anna), Elmer Davis, Curtis Davis and Edison Davis (who was very devoted), a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, four brothers-in-law, two additional sisters-in--law and friends. His uncle, Curtis Davis of Gibsonville, NC (who is 102 years old).
Dear Family,
I was very sorry to hear of Wesley's passing. Wesley was always friendly to everyone and I always enjoyed running in to him at the post office or Ingles. If I can be of assistance, please don't hesitate to let me know.
