To the Reaves family, I would like to send my deepest sympathy on behalf of the entire Galloway family which Wilbert knew all and felt like apart of the family. Really going to miss those great times we use to have together you, sendy, sue honkie dew, Mansfield and the crew. You were an awesome guy and could talk about anything. You were also an awesome singer and musician. We know that earth has no sorrows that heaven cannot heal. We will be praying for you family and we are here if you need us. Love, The Galloway's
To the family, please know that I am holding you in my heart and lifting you in prayer during this difficult time. I was shocked to learn of Wilbert's passing, and although I can't be with you in person, I am with you in spirit. For nearly two decades, I was the pianist & musical director for the Bethel Male Chorus. Wilbert's enthusiasm and spirit always completed us as a group. We became brothers in ministry. I will always remember the thousands of miles we traveled in that green and white van with Wilbert at the wheel. Sometimes, I'd sit directly behind him while he drove and we'd talk about everything. Of course one of the many things he'll be known for is the tambourine. He was our premiere percussionist, and he had a collection of tambourines to choose from. Wilbert, I'll never forget you. Family, may the tears of the day be replaced by the promised joys of tomorrow. Peace and blessings,
Kent R. Brooks (Chicago, Illinois)
