William Broadnax, 56 of Cascade, VA, died March 1, 2021, A Public Viewing will be held Thursday, March 4, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Perry Spencer Funeral, Eden, NC. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 5, 2021at Broadnax Family Cemetery, Eden, NC.
William went home to be with his Lord on March 1, 2021. He was a resident of Cascade, VA. Junior was the son of the late William Woodson Broadnax, Sr. and Ann Johnson Broadnax. He attended the public schools of Tunstall and graduated from Tunstall High School of Virginia. After graduation from high school, he felt the call to serve his country and joined the United States Navy. He was employed by Brian Center of Eden, NC. Junior was baptized and joined Sunny Home Baptist Church where he served faithfully with the Ushers Ministry. He loved working and cooking in the kitchen with the men of the church as they prepared breakfast after Easter sunrise service.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his mother; Deaconess Ann Broadnax and sister, Shanna Broadnax both of the home, brother; Christopher Broadnax (Carol) of Ridgeway, VA, niece; Kierra Broadnax, nephew; Keon Broadnax, 6 aunts, 5 uncles, special friends; Steve Dillard, Greg Adams and Jeff Smith, a very special friend; Debbie Kenan, a host of other relatives and friends.
