Stella Robbins, 63, of High Point, NC passed away peacefully on Wednesday December 13, 2023 at The Oaks in Winston Salem, NC after an unexpected and strong fight with lung cancer. She was born on September 8, 1960 in Guilford County to the late Lendo York and Evelyn Jackson. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Abraham Jr., Willie (Bobby), and George (LB) Jackson.
A resident of High Point all her life, she was a former employee of Prudential Insurance and later Aetna Insurance. She was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories her husband, Alan Robbins; mother-in-law, Sallye Robbins; daughter, Brandi Robbins; three grandchildren, Kaiyah Robbins, MyShawn Garris, and Amiya Garris; one great-grandson, Kaidyn Garris; two sisters, Mary Frances (Gilbert) Mayberry and Cathy (Brian) Collins; four brothers, Robert (Catherine) Jackson, Milton Jackson, Steve (Sarah) Jackson, and James (Teresa) Jackson, all of High Point, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 23, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel. The family will receive friends at the chapel from 11:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
Final arrangements are entrusted to Phillips Funeral Service, Inc.
