Mr. John Junior McMillan was born July12, 1979 to Joyce Marie Wilson and John Clifton McMillan, tragically departed his life June 3, 2023 at WFBH High Point. John was preceded in death by his stepfather, Rev. James Casey, Sr.; grandparents, Chas Wesley and Lucinda Bernice Wilson, Virginia Mae McMillan; great-grandparents, Nola Mae McMillan and RC McMillan; his cousin, Terry Lynn Carmichael.
John was educated in the public school system of Guilford County. Afterwards, John went to the Job Corps in Cherokee County at Oconaluftee Conservation Center.
John leaves to cherish his memories, a son, Johmareon A. McMillan; a loving and devoted mother, Joyce Marie Wilson Casey; his oldest sister, Sheneasha McMillan; niece, Jaquerra McMillan; two nephews: Jaquan McMillan, and Jaquez McMillan; great nieces, Skylar and Rylie; great nephews, Jaquez, Jr.; other siblings and a host of other siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. John has lots of memories that he has shared with “his brothers” Fredrick Edwards, Elton Sanders, and Norman (June) Johnson; several lady friends that share special memories as well.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel. The family will receive friends at the chapel from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
Final arrangements are entrusted to Phillips Funeral Service, Inc.
