Lillian AnnShannon Young, 32, of Greensboro, NC, peacefully departed this life on April 14, 2026. She was a woman of remarkable strength, unwavering conviction, and deep love for those around her. She is preceded in death by grandparents; Lillian Young Sr., James Smith, Larry Lindsey, Annie Alcendor and Charles Alcendor

Lillian was known for her strong will and her fearless dedication to standing up for what she believed in. She carried herself with resilience and purpose, leaving a lasting impression on everyone, fortunate enough to know her. Her voice, her presence, and her spirit were truly unforgettable.

Above all, Lillian cherished her family. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a treasured daughter, a caring sister, and a beloved cousin. Her love extended far beyond family, as she was also a loyal and supportive friend to many. She built bonds that were rooted in honesty, strength, and unconditional love.

Lillian’s legacy is one of courage, compassion, and authenticity. Though she is no longer with us in body, her influence, her lessons, and her love will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Lillian is survived by her husband, Jameek Jackson; daughter, Lohndynn Jackson; parents: Lakeena Freeman-Young and Patrick Alcendor, In- Laws: Stephanie Jackson & James Holden Jr.; siblings: Lindsay Young, Shavasia Freeman, Mira Ghersi, Keomani Alcendor, Chris Freeman, and Thomas Freeman; sibling-in laws, Jaanai Holden, Ricayah Watts & Jacques Williams; and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Lillian’s life will be held on May 2, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at the chapel from 3:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Final arrangements are entrusted to Phillips Funeral Service, Inc.

In honor of Lillian’s life and legacy, the family asks that flowers are potted and sent to Phillips Funeral Service, Inc., 1810 Brockett Ave, High Point, NC 27260, any gifts or donations can be collected at the memorial on day of service.
