Bobby also attended North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in Greensboro, NC for a while and he courageously served in the United States Army during the Iraq War. He was honorably discharged from the United States Army in 2006.
Bobby enjoyed music, doing yard work, and working on cars. He had a great sense of humor, was fun-loving and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He had a smile that would light up a room and a laugh that you could never forget. Bobby was well-respected and known for helping others in the community. He frequently gave advice to the younger generation and even helped provide guidance to children that weren’t biologically his.
Bobby’s presence will be missed, and his spirit will live in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He had a special love and connection with his cousins whom he grew up with and shared an unbreakable bond. Bobby often visited his cousins, aunts and uncles as he cared deeply for his family.

Bobby Lee and I served together in 1st Cav at Ft. Hood and in Iraq. Though my heart is broken, I can smile when I think back on the times we had. Even in a combat zone, he could make us laugh. Rest in Peace, my friend.
