Mr. Brandon Brice was born May 5, 1983, in High Point, NC, to Jimmy Currie and Carmella Jane Brice. On Sunday, November 13, 2022, he gave his life to Christ and on Monday, November 14, 2022, at 11:00 p.m., Brandon was called home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Barbara Sue Ledwell; three uncles, Sylvester Rhodes, Herman Rhodes, and Robert (June-Baby) Rhodes Jr.; sister, Rena Currie.
Brandon attended the public schools of Guilford County. He received his CDL at Surry Community College in 2018. He was also the owner of a janitor service and lawn care service. He was a dedicated worker and provider who gave you the shirt off his back and his shoes too without hesitation. His love for his family was his priority and taking care of the people around him. Brandon was raised up in church at Temple Memorial Baptist Church, resting on his grandmother’s knee.
In 2006, Brandon became a father of a beautiful baby girl, Mariayh Brianna Springs, that he truly adored wholeheartedly. Brandon married his loving wife, Tania Brice in 2017, and gained a bonus child, Kemonnie Dejournette who he acknowledged as his son for 13 years. Everyone who knew Brandon, witnessed his gentle, soft spoken and respectful demeanor, and who always greeted those of older age saying, “yes ma’am,” “no ma’am.”
Though Brandon’s physical presence is no longer with us, we rejoice that we had him for 39 years. He no longer suffers, is pain free, has reunited with those he loved, and is resting safely in the arms of our Heavenly Father.
Brandon leaves to cherish his wife, Tania Brice; daughter, Mariayh Springs; son, Kemonnie Dejournette; mother, Carmella Brice; father, Jimmy Currie; brothers, Quinton Morgan, Greg Bittle, Jimmy Bittle, Cameron Currie and Josh Monk; sisters, Kizzy Curry and Whitney Monk; aunt, Tracy Brice Scott; grandmother, Lena Simpson; cousins, Xavier Scott, Christian Scott, Noylan Scott; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, mother-in-law, Tyra Holt; sisters-in-law, Teontae Peoples and Reniera Johnson; brother-in-law, Antonio Peoples; and special friends – Michael Alston, Williams Sherrod (Mann), Jesse Chapman, Antonio Donnell and his daughter’s mother, Melissa Springs.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will follow at Guil-Rand Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the chapel from 12:30 p.m. until 1:00 p.m.
Final arrangements are entrusted to Phillips Funeral Service, Inc.
