Corey Duane Ratliff was born in High Point, NC. He was a beloved son, husband, father, brother, and friend whose life was defined by passion, loyalty, and deep devotion to his loved ones. Corey was the cherished son of Carolyn Wilkes of High Point, NC, and the late Cleveland Ratliff, Jr.
From childhood, he has had a passion for sports. He was a proud longtime fan of the NY Giants and NY Knicks. His love for sports stayed with him throughout his life, traveling to many games and embracing every moment. Corey lived by one unwavering belief: Family First. He didn't simply say it; he truly lived by it. Corey's greatest happiness came from being with family, traveling, shopping, and building cherished memories with his loved ones.
To know Corey was to know a man who was passionate, caring, full of life, and deeply committed to those he loved. His love for his family was the cornerstone of his life. Corey's legacy is one of love, devotion, and family. He will be remembered not just for what he did, but for how deeply he loved, how fiercely he protected his family, and how strongly he held them close. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
Corey is survived by his devoted wife and best friend, Consuelo Martin-Ratliff of Greensboro, NC; his daughters, Mercedes Ratliff, Zacorria "Zeeβ McFadden, Alexus Ratliff of High Point, NC; his bonus daughters Jasmine Martin and Jocelyn Brooks of Greensboro, NC; brother and best friend, Chune Ratliff of Greensboro, NC; and brother, Dominique of Charlottesville, VA; his grandchildren, Jamari, Jacques and Zoey; his beloved nieces, Alexis, Cee-Cee and Lonnie. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandmother, Rebecca Ratliff, and grandfather, the late Cleveland Ratliff, Sr. The entire Ratliff Family of Boydton and Hampton, VA; The Wilkes Family, and the Martin Family, along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel. The family will receive friends at the chapel from 3:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. The family will receive family and friends at 1600 Mossbrook Circle, High Point, NC 27260. Mr. Ratliff may be viewed on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Service, Inc.
Final arrangements are entrusted to Phillips Funeral Service, Inc.
