Pop, I still think about you every day. :) It's been a while now, but there's no less rain. It's SO weird. Our lives have completely changed. At first you got on my nerves so bad, but in the end, you taught me lessons that now, I take with me every day. Now much like you, I really don't care what anyone has to say. I just move. And I can honestly say... I am "Always Faithful". To myself FIRST. Because that's the first person to whom I should be true. You taught me to be satisfied with the silence. There is no such thing as LOUD loyalty. No one is worthy to bring reality to royalty... and now with Ma and Me... in the midst of this tragedy I realized I wasn't as savvy as I thought I could be. I didn't have the thoughts to think or words to speak... Hindsight is 20/20... it was too much for a lil blind girl to see. Like I said, it's been a minute, but I've often looked back and wished that I could have spoken in your honor more eloquently. Grief is a hell of a thing. But hey... you knew me. You know me now. Best thing I can do is hold my head and be proud. You know me. I could only be Kay. You knew I'd always be me. And truthfully, that's the thing that has set me free. Thank you, Pop. LOL.
I miss you every day. After almost two years I'm not sure why I'm still back here...but I'll always love you. I pray you really knew. So do Maine and Moo. I miss you. and we will always love you - Like you loved us... your daughter <3 "Tumbling Kay" <3.
Always in our hearts...
To the family of Richard, my prayers are that God will keep you during this tough time and give you his loving arms to lean on. Richard was a really nice and wonderful person. That smile could warm the heart of anyone that walked into his presence. I know God has one great angel sitting by his side. Until we meet again Richard, keep smiling and watching over us all. We love you so much... our lives will never be the same without you. You opened your heart and your life to us just like we were your very own, and words will never express what that has always meant to us. No one ever loved my mother like you did, and no one ever will. Thank you so much for being the only Dad I knew, my partner in crime, my protector, and my very good friend. Thank you for being "Pa Pa" to Maine and Moose. Any man could be a father, but it takes a very special man to be a Dad. And that was you. Forever... Kay (Tumblin Kay), Maine (Stinky Toe), and Moose (Lil Bull Runnin Wild)
