Mr. Donnie Renard Streater was born on March 21, 1969, in High Point, NC, to Barbara Ann Dow and James Thomas Streater. He accepted Christ at an early age, embracing a life of faith, love, and kindness. On May 12, 2025, Donnie peacefully transitioned from this life to be with the Lord. He was employed by Dynamic Trucking Company, where he was respected for his strong work ethic and dedication. Donnie brought joy to his coworkers and everyone he encountered with his bright smile, infectious laughter, and his unwavering love for the Dallas Cowboys. His presence lit up every room, and his spirit will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his devoted son, Donathn Streater of High Point, NC; his loving parents, Barbara and Wilbert Dow of High Point, NC, and James and Arnita Streater of Winston-Salem, NC; one brother, Anthony (Penny) Wilson of High Point, NC; three sisters, Tenita Lynette Welch and Shanda Allen, both of High Point, NC, and Kimberly (Ronald) Fields of Winston-Salem, NC. A special bond was shared with his cousin, Jerry Pratt Jr., who was like a brother, and his god-sister, Patricia McCormick Dixon, who held a unique and cherished place in his heart.
Donnie’s legacy of love, laughter, and creativity will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His life was a blessing, his memory a treasure, and he will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
