He leaves to cherish his legacy here on earth, his children, Muriel “Cookie” Sanders (the late Kevin) and Maria Evett Swinton both of High Point, NC; Dr. Fay (Laronda) Ashworth of Thomasville, NC, James Darren Swinton of High Point, NC, Shelia Darlene (Houston) Williams of South Chesterfield, VA, Alisha Michelle (Derek) Miller of Greensboro, NC, Michael Marques Swinton of Charlotte, NC and Lakshia Currie (Jamie) Brockington of High Point, NC; two sisters, Ophelia Bennett and Shirley Keel both of High Point, NC; two brothers, Sylvester (Hattie) Swinton of Chadbourn, NC and Karl (Debra) Swinton of Evergreens, NC; fourteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
