On Saturday, January 9, 2021 from the Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston Salem, NC, Mr. Glenn Fulmore, Jr. softly closed his eyes, spread his wings, and took flight from this earthly life to his eternal home. He was born on April 28, 1946 in Robeson County, NC, to the late Glenn and Elizabeth McCrae Fulmore. He was also preceded in death by his lovely wife, Queen Fulmore and daughter, Glenda Fulmore.
Glenn came to High Point, NC at an early age and joined in fellowship with the Greater New Hope Baptist Church. He served faithfully as a member of the choir until his health declined.
While the earthly life of our beloved has come to a close, we rejoice in knowing he gained a life everlasting. Left to cherish his memories are: two daughters; Deborah Allen of Greensboro, NC; Carolyn Galberth of Maxton, NC; one son, Gregory Hamilton of the home; three sisters, Altha Fulmore Hines of Laurinburg, NC; Rosanna Monk of High Point, NC and Mary Mcphaul of Greensboro, NC; three sisters-in-law, Mary Alice Taylor of Rowland, NC; Recilla Hamilton and Dorothy Hamilton of High Point, NC; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A private graveside service will be held Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Carolina Biblical Gardens. Mr. Fulmore may be viewed on Friday, January 15, 2021 at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
