In memory of Jerome My Big My Fond memory is Every summer my mom would send us down south To high point north Carolina to spend our summer vacation with my Aunt Margaret and her children my first cousin's Betty Ann, Darryl, Jerome ,Jimmy Tim and Vicki the twins. They lived in JC Morgan. Jerome aka "Nookie " Airforce Veteran, I remember one summer day when Jerome drove back home from work pulled in the driveway, stereo thumping listening to Groove line song by Heatwave the words say "Pack your grip, takin you on a trip, Ain't no seats, all we got' s is dancing feet, Leave your worries behind, 'Cause rain, shine, won't mind, We're ridin on the groove line tonight ". Uh, uh, ! Then right after the song would finish playing Jerome best friend aka squirrel would drive up in his white Vega playing the same song. Squirrel would get out of his car saying, Uh, uh ,uh! Well my dear cousin Jerome has left his worries behind and He shall surely be missed. The only thing cousin you left us too soon. Love your cousin Nuckie.
