James Perry Townsend departed this life at his residence on December 25, 2023.
He was born March 29, 1957, in Dillon, SC, to Mary Alice Townsend Williams and the late Rufus Ford. He is preceded in death by his lovely maternal grandparents, Perry and Sadie Townsend.
James graduated from Lakeview High School in 1975 and enlisted in the US Army. Following his tenure in the Army, he became a truck driver, working in the field for over thirty years.
