Obituary For Mr. Javon Garrison

Mr. Javon Antonio Garrison born February 7, 1990, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2020. He was a native of High Point, NC where he attended and was a graduate of High Point Central High School. He also attended GTCC in HP campus.

He was loved by many and a comedian, mostly the life of the party.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Robbie Lee Garrison, whom he adored; also preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Thomas Pearson.

Surviving to cherish his precious memories are his parents, mother, Traci Garrison (William), father, Barian Harris (Sharwanda) of Raleigh, NC; siblings: his sisters, Chelcie, Mahoganee, Nickea, Mercedes, Briana, Jasmine, Kenya; his brothers, Malik, Josiah, Rickey and Jacarris; grandparents, Vanessa Garrison, Mr. Lester L. Rorie (Kimberly) and Ms. Sandra Pearson of Raleigh, NC; a host of aunts and uncles; a special aunt, LaTisha Tah (Prince) of Raleigh, NC; a special cousin, Andrea Garrison (Andrea’s “Coota”); a host of cousins, nieces and nephews; special friends, Jacinda, Adam (Tamera) William, LeQuentin, Dantreel; and many more that held a special place in his heart; god mother, Lorraine Wilson.

A private funeral will be held Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel. Mr. Garrison may be viewed on Friday, August 28, 2020 from 4:00p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel.

Final arrangements are entrusted to Phillips Funeral Service, Inc.
