Obituary For Mr. Johnny Marshall
Johnny Jerome Marshall, affectionately known as “Johnny Dreds,” passed away on Monday, July 1, 2024. He was born in High Point, NC, on February 24, 1974, to the Theleshia Marshall and the late Johnny Lee McCall.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Willie Marshall and Trevolia Marshall; brother, Johnny McCall, Jr.; sister, Erica Fleming. and cousin, Margie “Shell” Marshall.
Johnny owned a trucking business called Trustworthy, LLC. He was always friendly and outgoing and cherished spending time with his children and family, enjoying good food, and watching movies. Johnny was hardworking and loved reminiscing about old times with his family, laughing, and creating new memories. Though he is no longer with us, we are grateful to God for the beautiful memories of love, joy, and peace we will always treasure.
Johnny is survived by his mother, Theleshia Marshall; his stepfather, James “Shine” Thomas; his children: Latiesha Lipsey, Essence Wilford, Princess Marshall, DeMarco Badger, Jovan Miles, Keimberlyn Corbett, Johnathan Corbett, Faith Corbett, Joanny Marshall, and Johnny Marshall, Jr. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Uzziah Murray, Zavion Lipsey, Tori Murphy, and Avona Lipsey; his brothers, David (Heffy) Marshall and Lemuel McNillon, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. at Solid Rock Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Guil-Rand Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the chapel from 1:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m.
Final arrangements are entrusted to Phillips Funeral Service, Inc.
