To The Curtis Family and The Emmanuel Baptist Church family: our condolences, love, and prayers in the passing of Mr. JW. God granted me the privilege to see he and Mrs. Sarah a few years ago and I was blessed to chat for a few minutes. Old Mill Road and Skeet Club Road memories fill my mind. Revivals and shared farming such sweet, sweet memories. May God bless you and keep you. "Good people leave memories that bless us." Proverbs 10:7 --Deborah Taylor Dozier Charlotte, NC
I've had the privilege to spent Mr.JW's last months with him. It has not only been a blessing to be apart of his life and his family but an honor to care, love, and look after a man that had a gift bestowed by God. God placed Mr.J and Mrs.Sarah in my life just when I needed them the most without me knowing. I got to know and genuinely love the solid, dedicated, hard-working, God uplifting background he came from. To know that he has built this amazing family with the one and only Sarah Elizabeth with all the challenges they both faced in their younger years is knowing that God is real. In such a short time he showed me what a real man of God looks like. He showed me when you build a foundation of unbreakable steel that everything you lay on top of it will produce royalties. That royalty was passed onto all of his children, grandchildren, great grands and everyone he came into contact with. To his children I want to thank you for allowing me to care for your dad, for allowing me to be apart of your family. Thank you for opening up your world to me and showing me what a family looks like. I love each and every one of you and I will pray for your strength, peace of mind, daily devotion to life and healing during this Celebration of life. Just know your dad left an majestic mark on not only my heart and my Sister "Muffin" heart but on the world.
Love and Blessings, Bianaca Williams
