Keith “Bubba” Nichols, 41, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2020 at Moses Cone Med Center. He was born on January 13, 1979 in Bennettsville, SC to Maxine Nichols and Vernon Cannady. Keith was a resident of High Point, NC. He attended High Point Central High School, class of 1997.
Keith was a certified welder for 17 years and received his Associates Degree in Criminal Justice in 2015 before his health declined. Keith enjoyed family time with his wife and kids; and enjoyed fishing and playing video games with the fellows. Keith was a loving, caring husband, father, son, brother, nephew, uncle and friend.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Thomas Nichols; grandmother, Eula Mae Nichols; grandfather, Rev. James Cannady; aunt, Johnnie Mae Nichols; two brothers, Darrius Hough and Charles Marbuary.
Keith is survived by his wife, Crystal Eury Nichols; three sons, Lekeith “Quan” Nichols, Ke’von Nichols and Marquis Pemberton; two sisters, Sherri Cannady and Jasmine Crawford; nine brothers, Derrick Cannady, Tony Nichols, Deion Cannady, De’kel Cannady, Michael Johnson, Colon McRae, Christopher McRae, Victor McRae and Joseph Breeden; grandmother, Mildred Cannady; mother-in-law, Ava Whitworth; brother-in-law, Angelo Eury; niece, Al’Dashia Macer; nephew ,Tyriq Eury; a special cousin whom is like a brother, Maurice Nichols; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and a great niece and nephew.
A private memorial service will be held Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel.
