To the Family of Larry Rucker, I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of your beloved Larry. Although we hadn't seen each other for years, we would occasionally reconnect over the phone to catch up on life, share memories from our school days and laugh about old times, and, discuss politics. Those conversations always meant a lot to me. Time and distance never diminished the bonds of our shared memories. Legacy isn't built through seeking attention or approval, but through consistent respectful engagement with community and loved ones. Larry was truly a kind, genuine, compassionate person who cared deeply for his family and community. His legacy will live on through the love and wisdom he passed on to you, and his spirit will forever shine through you and the many lives he touched. Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. May you find comfort in the love that surrounds you and may your cherished memories of Larry bring you peace. With love and praying you enough...... Barbara Carter William Penn High School Class of '68

Family, I am/we are very blessed to have had LC as a part of the Bowman/Rucker family. He was always willing to share his wisdom and experience, with the goal of helping others in his path. I will definitely treasure our long, leisurely phone calls where we set aside our clocks and just talked about family, politics, world issues and everything else in between. LC cared deeply and demonstrated his concern, especially through his community involvement. My cousin came, saw, served, and shared, guided by a strong moral compass. For his unwavering level of commitment, I am/we are forever grateful! We love you, cousin, and I can only imagine the joyous Celestial reunion with our Creator and our ancestors.
Great guy Great sense of humor and was always willing to drop some knowledge on us younger guys. Nothing but positive vibes 🙏🏿My condolences to the family.
