Leroy Peter Bridges, 74, of High Point NC, was born to the late George and Mary Lee Bridges on March 4, 1946 in Bennettsville SC. He departed his life on May 17, 2020.

Leroy was preceded in death by his wife Willowee Dixon Bridges.

Leroy leaves to mourn his loss: daughters, Wendy C. Bridges and Stacy F. Rogers (Chris) and Patricia Dixon; step-daughter, Patricia L. Dixon and Sandra F. Dixon; grandchildren, Delande G. Hawkins Sr., Deveney L. Bridges, Lijai S. Carter and Nandi M. Carter; great-grandchildren, Delande G. Hawkins Jr., Jayce D. Hawkins, Jonas D. Hawkins, Paulli Grace Rose Bulow; sisters, Catherine Jacobs and Mildred Drayton Ogdon; in-laws, Julia Mae Bridges, Alice Mae Bridges, Asalee Bridges, James Jacobs and Frank Dixon; step-grandchildren; step-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends whom he loved.

A private funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2020 at Phillips Funeral Services Chapel. Interment will follow at Guil-Rand Memorial Park. Mr. Bridges may be viewed on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
