-Ronald Robinson, New Castle, Delaware I am in a stage of disbelief as I face the reality that you my friend and brother is no longer here with us. My life is so enriched because of over 30 years of friendship with Michael! Michael provided words of encouragement and support when I attended graduate school, received my first job offer, and became involved with church ministry. I always admired his dedication and unselfish love to family and friends. He was always a role model of what true success looks like when you love God, maintain integrity, and dedicated to a cause to instill values and morals in others. Michael was humble and appreciated the blessings of God! I will miss his infectious laugh and appreciation for good food and superb dining! I want to thank the Nelson family for sharing Michael with us as he will live on in our hearts and thoughts. Such a fine legacy he leaves behind that we must replicate and share with all people! May the strength of God be upon you now and forever more! Saint Matthew 5:4 "Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted." KJV

I am utterly shocked by the news of your passing that I keep going back to our most recent LinkedIn conversations whereas always you have offered encouragement. My prayers go out to your entire family and I want them each to know that they are certainly in my prayers! Rest easy my High Point Community Fellowship Gospel Choir fellow tenor who I connected with from day one of me becoming a member and although it's been many years since we saw each other, we did manage to allow our social media outlets to keep us connected in some capacity. We shall see you on to the other side my brother!
Our staff will continue to keep your family in our prayers. We thank you for allowing us to serve your family.
