Mr. Orlanda Lee Wall, 49, made his transition from this earthly life on December 2, 2021, at WFBH High Point Medical Center. He was born on December 23, 1971, a son of Linda W. Wall and the late Harlee Wall. He was also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James and Josephine Wall; one aunt, Brenda D. White.
Fondly known as “Pee Wee” to family and friends, Orlanda attended High Point Central High School. His hobbies included drawing, gardening, fishing, writing poetry and spending time with his dog. Orlanda was a true fighter through his life, being a big brother, a great father, and a wonderful son. He was a member of Life On Lexington, where he also volunteered every Tuesday.
Surviving to cherish precious memories are his children, Derek Donnell, Lakeisha Wall, Tyquasha A. S. Wall, Shyterrius L. Wall, Jaquese Rayvond, and Xiaver Wall (Adriana Johnson); his mother, Linda W. Wall; grandchildren, Jasmine Wall, Jaylen Wright, Joshua Wright, Camille I. R. Wall, Laila L. Walland Alana Bridlle Wall; his sibling, Dominique A. Johnson (Tawanna); one aunt, Loretta R. Johnson; his ex-wife, Sylvia Haynes; special family member, Regina Royal; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel. The family will receive friends at the chapel from 2:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Final arrangements are entrusted to Phillips Funeral Service, Inc.
