My condolences to the Robinson family. Our greatest enemy death has taken another loved one. Please find comfort in knowing that God knows your pain and as it says in 2Corinthians 1:3 & 4: God is the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others... Losing a loved one is certainly a trying time. I had the privilege of going to Northeast Jr High with Randy and saw what a good athlete he was as well as a nice dresser especially on game days. In God's and Jesus' eyes Randy is only sleeping as Lazarus was. What a wonderful hope we have of one day seeing him again when Jesus calls all from the memorial tombs/graves. John 5:28 & 29. Please accept my condolences for the loss of your dear family member and friend, Mr. Robinson. I lost my mother in May and would like to share a few words of encouragement that have helped me to get through these past few months. -------
The Bible makes it clear that God did not originally intend for humans to die. Psalms 37:29 states that, "The righteous will possess the earth and they will life forever on it." Because of this, I am looking forward to seeing her again in an earthly paradise where sickness and death will be done away with. - Revelation 21:3, 4
However, when the enemy death strikes, grief is great and emotions run high. Please keep in mind that it does not show weakness to cry. As a matter of fact, when Lazarus died, Jesus himself, "gave way to tears." This can be found at John 11:33, 35.
Know that you and your family are in my prayers and it is my sincere hope that these words will bring you comfort. Always remember that you can draw close to God in prayer and in this most trying time, "He himself will sustain you." - Psalms 55:22
