Willie "Soapstick" Williams ,76, of High Point, NC departed this life on April 7, 2025.
He is survived by his wife, Clara Boyd Williams; his children, Steve Obery of Henderson, NC; LaFonda Collier, Rayvone Williams, and Anthony Boyd all of High Point, NC Sister Annie Mae Davis of Hampton, VA; brothers Walter Hill of Henderson, NC and Toby Haskins of Winston Salem, NC.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at Temple Memorial Baptist Church, 1458 Cedrow Drive, High Point, NC 27260. The family will receive friends at the church from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Interment will be held Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Salisbury National Cemetery, Salisbury, NC. Public viewing will be held on Monday, April 14, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Final arrangements are entrusted to Phillips Funeral Service, Inc.
