Mrs. Barbara Ingram Cash was born in Anson County to the late Gaston and Bessie Bell Ingram. Her sunrise was on August 19, 1939 and sunset was Sunday, October 4, 2020 at 2:29 p.m. at Hospice of the Piedmont in High Point, NC. Preceded in death was her parents, Gaston and Bessie Bell Ingram; five brothers, Mr. James Ingram, Mr. Lee Ingram, Mr. Clearance Ingram, Mr. Paul Ingram and Mr. Robert Louis Ingram; four sisters, Mrs. Queen Clinton, Mrs. Zeda Cheek, Mrs. Corine Johnson and Mrs. Cassie Bell Ingram; two grandchildren, Erica Cash and Corwin “CJ” Cash, Jr. and also a special friend, Helen Shaw.
Barbara had been a resident of High Point, NC most of her life. She attended William Penn High School where she was a majorette in the band. She was united in marriage to Printist H. Cash, Sr. on October 5, 1955. She was a member of King’s Chapel Holiness Church for over 50 years where she served in many areas such as missionary, the building fund, the usher board, willing workers, hospitality, and numerous other capacities. Barbara served as Vice-President of the COJICA youth convention for over 25 years with the late Bishop Mildred Jones. Barbara has been a member of Bethel Apostolic Temple for the past ten years where she served as Mother of the church. Barbara was outgoing, family oriented, loved to cook and sew, and wore many fashionable hats with a graceful smile.
Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Printist H. Cash, Sr.; her four children, Printist Cash, Jr. (Trulus) of Greensboro, NC, Corwin Cash (Jenny) of High Point, NC, Vivian Cash Scott (Kevin) of High Point, NC, and Suffragan Bishop Kelvin Cash (Gail) of Knoxville, TN; also ten grandchildren, Courtney Turner, Mackenzie Wallace (Laura), Diedra Cash, Tasha Debnam, Tameka Hairston (James), Printist Cash III (Asia), Deyonna Joyce, Micah Welborn, Miriam Cash, and Madalie Cash; eleven great-grandchildren, two sisters-in-law, Hattie Ingram and Dorothy Cash; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A private funeral service will be held, Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will follow at Guilford Memorial Park. Mrs. Cash may be viewed on Friday, October 9, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel.
