She also worked as a private CNA on occasions.
She was a faithful member of Williams Memorial C.M.E. Church, where she served as a member of the usher board, choir and steward until declining health prevented her engagement.
Beulah, our loving mother, grandmother, and great-grand mother, great-greatgrandmother, stood on Psalms 23. When she needed comfort, she would focus on verse 4, “Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear nor evil: for thy are with me: thy rod and thy staff the comfort me.” She would end in bold assurance with verse 6, “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.” One of her favorite songs was “I Got Jesus”.
Beulah was married to Marine Deville Brown, who preceded her in death in December 2006.

My sincere condolences to the family of Mrs. Beaulah Brown. She was a part of me and my family lives for a very long time in our early years at Bethlehem Baptist and we always loved her and her family! I remember singing on the choir and ushering and she was the director of them both and let me tell you she would keep us straight! R.I.P Mrs. Beaulah gone but not forgotten 🌺❤️

I am going miss you Aunt Beulah. I enjoyed our last visit together. My heart was so touched when you remembered my face and my voice. You said Chaka where is my glasses? Every visit to your home, you would take me in your living room and show me my picture. When I became an adult, you ask me to stop by your home because you had a surprise for me. That surprise was my picture in a gift bag. Aunt Beulah, you advised I may want this picture one day. I was 3 years old standing in the garden in Bennettsville, SC holding this beautiful flower. Which is my favorite flower now, but on today as I reflect, I'm thinking of you smiling holding that picture. Thank you for all your love.
