To my cousin Stevie. So sad to hear of the passing of your mother. May God be with you and give you strength daily during this time. Porshea Jackson Miller
My deepest sympathy to Stevie and the family. I have nothing but fond memories when I think of Dee Dee. My mind takes me back to our younger days at High Point Central, when all we thought about was what to do after Friday, going into the weekend. One thing was for sure, if anyone tried to say or do anything wrong to us, Dee Dee would not have any problem putting them in their place. She always spoke her mind, like it or not. Even when I visited DeeDee in the nursing home, she was still speaking her mind and putting people in their place. May you RIP.

Dee Dee and I attended Winston-Salem State University, she was a freshman while I was junior. She made it her business to become a dependable friend and a joy to be around. We have remained friends since 1974 and she has never exhibited nothing short of admiration. In fact, seeing her earlier this year, she recalled the Good Ole days we shared at WSSU. May God continue to Bless you and your warm/happy spirit will never be forgotten..
Sincere condolences to DeeDee's family. She and I were lifelong friends from Saginaw,MI. May the Lord comfort you as only He can. Joy cometh in the morning. Much love, Linda McClain Veasley
