Mrs. Diane Williams Christian passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at her residence. She was born to the late Jimmy Green and Mozelle Williams on November 27, 1948, in Harlem, NY.
She was raised in Florida and then moved to New York, where she met her husband, Lloyd Christian. and then relocated to High Point, NC. Diane dedicated over forty years as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), serving and caring for others. She worked for the State of New York for twenty-seven years before retiring from Presbyterian Nursing Home.
During her leisure time, she enjoyed attending live concerts and plays. Moreover, she valued the opportunity to watch her favorite Western TV shows.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Lloyd; son, Tony; daughter, Michele; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; five sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 17, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will follow at Carolina Biblical Gardens. The family will receive friends at the chapel from 12:30 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. Mrs. Christian may be viewed on Friday, August 16, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel.
