Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Linton Ingram began her life’s journey on June 9, 1941 in Anson County, the first child of Ernestine Smith Linton and Jessie Linton.
She attended William Penn High School, and graduated from the class of 1960. Mary accepted Jesus Christ at a young age and attended both Temple Memorial and Greater First United Baptist Churches.
Mary affectionately known as (Lib) was married to Bobby C. Ingram for 66 wonderful years. Through this union they were blessed with two children Lavoris (Bernard) Ingram Butler and Darryl. She was overjoyed to be the proud grandmother and great grandmother of Justin and Makai and a bonus daughter Annie Jones. She shared with us critical life lessons, “You cannot do everything, but always do the right things, right”.
Lib was an avid serial decorator. She loved all things with sparkle and bling. She was a fashionista, she had a love for over the top hats, and accessories and embraced a style that many admired; not to mention her passion for elegant Christmas Trees and decorations.
She is survived by her husband, Bobby C. Ingram; two children, Lavoris (Bernard) Ingram and Darryl Ingram; Lib was family oriented and cherished her beloved siblings, Lee Ellis, Annie (Joseph) Tisdale, Robert Linton, Julia (Clyde) Blount, Dorothy (Gilbert) Harrington, James (Bessie) Linton and bonus sisters, Willie Ellen Kelly and Shirley Pearson. And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
May we carry her love and warm smile in our hearts.
May her light shine through all of us who had the pleasure of knowing her. We honor Mary’s life and the love she shared with us. She will forever live in our hearts.

To The Ingram Family, I am certainly grateful that I was able to share in the life journey of Mrs. Ingram. She was first a faithful supporter and encourager of The Pastor's Attic and from that she became a friend and unselfishly shared her light. My sincere condolences to you all at this time. Bishop Tanny Wright Jr.
