Obituary For Mrs. Mozelle Harrington

Mozelle Harrington was born April 7, 1942. Her life was well lived, and she was well loved by many! The Lord called her home in a peaceful manner at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 in her 78th year of life.

Born in High Point, NC Mozelle spent her life as a hardworking, dedicated, faithful and loving person. She had a long-standing relationship with God and was very blessed with her faith to her dying breath. She was an honored and dedicated member of Williams Memorial C.M.E. Church of High Point, NC.

This gentle, loving, caring and wonderful person has left a permanent mark etched on our hearts and will be supremely missed by her husband and best friend of 55 years, Casey; she will be equally missed by her children, Casey (Tonia), Kenan (Jean), Leevon O. and Katrina Parson (stepdaughter); proud grandmother to Ryan (Casey), DeMont, Shaveka, Darren, Keisha, Kenitra, Kenan II (Kenan), Darius, Julia, Javonte (Leevon O.), Jermaine, Latasha (Katrina); her loving brothers and sisters, Charles Alston Sr., Roberta Scott (Curtis), Nathaniel Williams (Janet), Leroy Williams, Patricia Middlebrooks (Bobby), Lynnette Wilson (Leonard) and Michael Williams (Donna); her loving sisters/brothers-in-law; she cherished her role to a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A private funeral service will be held Monday, July 6, 2020 at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will follow at Carolina Biblical Gardens. Mrs. Harrington may be viewed on Sunday, July 5, 2020 at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
