Mrs. Ruth Louise Caldwell, 77, made her peaceful transition from earthly life to life everlasting on September 23, 2022, at her home. She was born July 24, 1945, in Darlington, SC, a daughter of the late Rev. Jerome Johnson, Sr., and Irene Cooper Johnson. Ruth graduated from William Penn High School, Class of 1964, and continued her education at Guilford Technical Community College. She was employed by W.J. Reeves, Sam’s Club, Martin Twin Theater, and retired from Dillard’s.
Ruth had a beautiful heart and spirit! She loved her family, friends, and pets, and did anything for her son, granddaughters, and daughters, whom she absolutely adored. Her presence will truly be missed, but not forgotten.

To extended family and friends (too many to mention by name) share your personal stories to keep alive the memories, values, and connection to your common heritage with Ruth.
