To Val's family ... We were in the H.P. Central class of '71 together, and in the band. Val was one of the most fun classmates ever! She cracked me up and I loved to pick on her. When we had our 50th class reunion she was, indeed, the life of the party. May you, family, seek, find and be comforted by the peace that only comes through Jesus Christ and His Spirt. May you cherish warm memories forever. Rest in peace, Val ... Gregg Gibhardt

To the Gantt Dickens Family, my sincere condolences and prayers. I will miss Val. She was so funny. I will miss our FaceBook responses and in seeing her at footballs games. She was the life of the party. We all grew up in the same church (St. Stephens). What a joy and friend to have. You will truly be missed.

The legacy that Val leaves cannot be matched with words. It's measured by the love, fun and memories we shared over many years, many years of fellowship and friendship. We studied through school and we shared fun, laughter and parties. Where Val was, there was always history being made as classmates and friends. She gave our crew great support and gifts of memories that we will always cherish. RIP. Classmate and friend.
