On Wednesday, June 10, 2020 the Lord welcomed Mrs. Virginia Christian Stanback, 75, into her Heavenly Home. Virginia was welcomed into this world by her parents, Benjamin and Annie Christian on March 15, 1945. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Nelson Stanback; two children, Annie and Annah Stanback; her sister, Joann Woodard.
She received her education from the public schools of Richmond County, NC. Virginia was a faithful worker at Master Kleen Cleaners, where she was a pants presser. She was the best presser in town. Virginia had a passion for gardening and enjoyed working in her yard. She had a green thumb for flowers.
She attended church at Another Chance Ministry. Mrs. Stanback was a loving wife, and wonderful mother; her family and friends will miss her dearly.
Virginia leaves to cherish her memories; her son, Steve (Tracy) Stanback of High Point, NC; five grandchildren, Whitney, Justin and Bryce Stanback, Secoyoh Rorie and Chrishlin Ingram; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Lilly (June) McDonald; two brothers, Benjamin Christian and George (Gloria) Christian all of High Point, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends. A private funeral service will be held Monday, June 15,2020 at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will follow at Guil-Rand Memorial Park. Mrs. Stanback may be viewed on Sunday, June 14, 2020 at Phillips Funeral Service from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Steve and Tracey, I was sadden to hear of Ms. Virginia's passing. As you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, please know that we are praying for you all during this time.
