Mrs. Wilhelmina Winchester passed away on July 15, 2026. She was born in High Point, NC, on November 16, 1948, to the late Valentine Chandler and Catherine Haywood.
Wilhelmina graduated from William Penn High School in 1968. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, serving as the heart of her family and being deeply loved in return.
Her presence could light up any room she entered. With her kind spirit and warm smile, she left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is survived by her beloved and amazing husband of 52 years, Herbert Winchester. Together, they created a wonderful family that included their daughters, Karen Gidderon and Laura Winchester. She also leaves behind her granddaughter, Stephanie Floyd, and her great-great-granddaughter, Jenasis Howze. Additionally, she is remembered by eight sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law, and numerous cousins and friends.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at 12:30 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel. The family will receive friends at the chapel from 12:00 p.m. until 12:30 p.m. Interment will follow at Guilford Memorial Park. Public viewing will be held on Monday, July 20, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel.

Mr Hubert.. I'm sorry sorry to hear about the Passing of Mrs Willie Mae...I used to live across the street from Mr Hubert and Mrs Willie Mae... Very Sweet people... My husband and I moved away.. but we always go by and visit...Mrs Willie Mae would always tell us that she was glad to see us🤗🤗...
