Ms. Bonita Renai Boger, affectionately known as “Bonnie”, transitioned from her earthly life on March 5, 2026, at the WFBH High Point Medical Center after a lengthy illness. Bonnie was born February 3, 1968, in Camden, NJ, to her loving parents, Mrs. Rose P. Boger and the late Herbert Eugene Thomas Boger.
Bonnie grew up in Camden, excelled academically at every grade and graduated from Camden High School, Class of 1986. Her talent and scholarship were on brilliant display as she learned to play the piano, violin, flute, and clarinet. She was in the marching band for all 4 years of high school. Bonnie was also an avid and skilled bowler, often teaming up with brother Anthony, and they shared a trophy case full of proof.
She also attended Trenton State College in Trenton, NJ.
Later in her life she relocated to High Point NC, returning to the roots of where her father and paternal grandparents lived. She was a hardworking and brave single Mom, who enjoyed public contact. Working in customer service, hospitality, and sales; in the hotel and retail industry. She was lastly employed by Citi Trends in the Triad area. This was among several part-time positions she also had in the constant effort to take care of herself and her family. Bonnie was always smart, lively and quick-witted even through her health beginning to decline. Her family and extended family loved her and in unison feels she left too soon, even as the family tradition respects the will of Almighty God.
She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Mrs. Rose P. Boger of Camden, NJ; four sons; Jaaron Boger of Oakland, CA; Devon Boger of High Point, NC; Dominic Boger of Camden, NJ; and Jontae Boger of Greensboro, NC; she also is survived by four grandchildren who adored her, Adrian, Za’Kari, Tristen, and Hezekiah; her brother and loving sister-in-law, Anthony Eugene Boger and Mrs. Ayana Jordan-Boger of Camden NJ; in addition, she leaves many close members of her extended family; a host of cousins, uncles and aunts, as well as a special friends, Monica Alford of High Point, NC and Samantha Rivera of Greensboro, NC.
