Janet (Net) Rochelle was once my best friend, and only time and distance changed that. We grew up together as our brothers Carlton and Melvin were best friends as well. My sincerest condolences to Melvin, Ronny, and all of Net's remaining family and friends. May your memories of her bring you great comfort and peace. I pray she now rest in the arms of our Lord. Irma Malloy Gunnels, San Antonio, TX, Class of 71.
Janet and I shared some early growing up years in Mount Vernon Baptist Church. We were an active part of the church , singing on the choir and youth missionaries. Janet's mom, Ms Inez , was a song bird and Janet wasn't too far behind. Janet had a light hearted spirit and she was a very kind person. May God comfort you during this time as only He can. Sandra Hayes(Class of 1971)

It has been Some years since I've Seen Janet; but, When We Were Young Adults, We Were Neighbors. Janet never met a Stranger. She was outgoing and didn't take things too seriously. The times when we would see One Another, We Always Left Each Other Laughting. RIP Janet💗 My Sincerest Condolences to The Family. Sandra McGill Smith; Tallahassee, Florida
