Larkiesha Marshawn McKinney transitioned to Heaven on Sunday, November 29, 2020. She was born June 19, 1978 at High Point Reginal Hospital in High Point, NC to Larry and Marcellette McKinney. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, James Burrell, Annie Burrell-Young, and Leola McKinney; her brother, Quincy McKinney.
Kiesha was a resident of High Point NC. She attended the public schools of Guilford County and was a graduate of Southwest Guilford High School, Class of 1997. Kiesha was a certified dietitian for Early Childhood Education.
Kiesha is survived by her children, Markaiel McKinney, Christian McLendon, Jordan McLendon (sons of Christopher McLendon), Ja’cyon Davis-McKinney (son of Ron Davis ); her parents, Larry and Marcellette McKinney; her beloved brother, Aaron McKinney all of High Point, NC; her mother-in-law, Ophelia McLendon of High Point, NC; grandparents to her son, Mrs. Shirley and Papa Davis of Kernersville NC; godchildren, Kaylen Bell of Charlotte, NC and Cameron Harris of High Point, NC; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be held Sunday, December 6, 2020 at Carolina Biblical Gardens. Ms. McKinney may be viewed on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Final arrangements are entrusted to Phillips Funeral Service, Inc.
Sorry for your loss. She was so young. Acts 2:31 just remember Jehovah gave his only son to die for us to have a second chance at life which is a resurrection.

Keisha has always been a beautiful soul inside and out. I remember getting a new job position and she along with Shea Rivers came to my job with a gift and card congratulating me. At that time it meant everything to me and the growth I was experiencing in life. She always had a beautiful smile and great things to say!
